The body systems and vocabulary basics you need to read a doctor’s notes. Three weeks. No background needed.

How Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, Tricare, and workers’ comp actually work in real billing. Not the textbook version. The real one.

ICD-10 Diagnosis Coding & Future Planning
The full diagnosis code set, including the small rules that cause most rejected claims. We update this module every quarter. Note: We actively track the World Health Organization’s ICD-11 transition planning and will automatically update this curriculum when CMS publishes a U.S. implementation timeline.

CPT and HCPCS Procedure Coding
This is the heaviest part of the coding training. Surgery, E/M, radiology, anaesthesia. Modifiers, bundling, and the rules that catch new coders off guard.

Claims Processing & Automation Tools
The full claim life cycle inside Availity, Change Healthcare, and Waystar. We also introduce AI-assisted coding, denial prediction tools, and automated charge capture, shaping the future of billing workflows.

Finding the root cause of a denial. Writing appeals that actually work. Reducing denials before they happen.

Working aging buckets. Patient calls. Collection rules under FDCPA and state laws.
